PR today requires a multi-disciplinary approach. Your audience, business or consumer, is absorbing information from a variety of sources - traditional print and broadcast media are still in the mix, direct one to one interaction has always made a difference and over the last few years, social channels and social media PR have become increasingly important.
We find your audience, identify the buttons we need to press and build a bespoke programme of activity to make sure it happens.
You often here people in the PR industry saying how difficult it is to track and evaluate the outcomes of a PR campaign. That's generally an excuse for poor campaign design, execution or management. The fact is we now have a wide variety of tools at our disposal to demonstrate the return. Using those tools properly means that you not only see what works, you also get to see what doesn't so that campaigns can be amended. Public relations is never likely to be an exact science but we can at least apply a methodical approach to campaign management and measurement.
At Babel we use a variety of techniques ranging from one-to-one company perception interviews with key journalists, to quantitative and qualitative assessment of campaign coverage using in-house or third party tools.
